Easy Homemade Whoopie Pies

Ingredients:

1 Box Cake Mix

1 Stick Melted Butter

2 Eggs


Frosting: Store bought can of frosting, coordinating flavor to cake mix


Favorite Combinations:

Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Chocolate Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Strawberry Cake with Chocolate Frosting

Yellow Cake with Chocolate Frosting

Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting


Technique:

Mix cake mix, melted butter and eggs together.

Scoop rounded teaspoon, roll into ball and set on baking sheet.

Bake at 350* for 8-10 minutes.

Do not overcook; cookies will continue to cook as they sit.

Let sit for 5 minutes before transferring to wax paper. Let cool completely.

Turn cookies upside down. Pipe frosting on one half of the cookies.

Gently press second half of cookies onto the frosted ones while frosting is fresh and soft.

For best flavor, refrigerate for a couple hours before serving.

Whoopie pies store very well frozen also.
