set_attribute Gene

The set_attribute gene (formerly the set_cell_attribute gene; deprecated as of v.1.0.3) allows MyKaryotes to alter the values of their attributes at will.

The first argument contains the attribute that is to be edited, which can be any of the following:
  • diet
  • prey_attraction
  • predator_fear
  • maxspeed
  • minspeed
  • tumbleandrun
  • friction
  • size
  • healing
  • resistance
  • sightdistance
The second argument holds the value that the attribute should be changed to. All other arguments remain empty.

Example usage:
1 set_attribute size 0.5 0 0
