  • 1 (15-oz) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (3- to 4-oz) box vanilla Jell-O instant pudding mix
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 small container Cool Whip
  • 1 large Sara Lee pound cake, defrosted


01. Thoroughly drain juice from pineapple.

02. Mix drained pineapple with the dry pudding mix and almond extract; fold in the Cool Whip. 

03. Cut cake lengthwise into 3 layers.

04. Spread Cool Whip mixture over each of the layers and smooth around the sides and top.

05. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
