Ingredients

  • 1-LB ground pork
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped pimento olives
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-LB bacon

Preparation

01. Preheat oven to 400ºF.

02. Except for the bacon, mix together all of the ingredients; shape into bite-size balls.

03. Cut bacon strips in half (across the center of the package); wrap a half-strip around each sausage ball and secure with a toothpick.

04. Place on a rack in a casserole dish or roasting pan; bake in preheated oven until bacon is cooked, about 30 minutes.

05. Keep warm in chafing dish or crock-pot; serve.
