Glass:  Punch cup or Rocks glass

Makes: Half-gallon or about 16 (4-ozs. each) servings


For simple syrup:
  • 2-lbs. sugar
  • 4 cups water

For punch:

  • 1-pint Tequila
  • 2.0-oz Cointreau or Triple Sec liqueur
  • 2 cups fresh lime juice
  • 1.5-oz (3 Tbsp) orange extract

  • Lime wheels for punch bowl or pitcher

For Serving
  • Ice


01.  At least five (5) hours before serving, make simple syrup by combining the sugar and water in a large saucepan and boiling until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool.

02.  Mix cooled simple syrup with the punch ingredients. Chill for several hours before serving. 

At serving:
03. Serve in a punch bowl over ice or in ice-filled cups or glasses.
