Frozen Cranberry Margarita, Betty Crocker (15)

Glass:  Margarita glass or Double Rocks glass

Makes:  Fifteen (15) slush drinks


  • 1 (11.5- to 12-oz) can frozen cranberry juice cocktail concentrate
  • 40.00-oz water (1.25-quarts/5 cups)
  • 2.00-oz lime juice (1/4 cup)
  • 2.67-oz triple sec (1/3 cup)
  • 8.00-oz tequila (1 cup)


For Serving
  • 2 (12-oz) cans Sprite or 7UP

* Two recipe variations below use additional ingredients.


01. At least 24-hours before serving, and in a 3-quart freezer-safe container, mix all of the ingredients with a whisk or wooden spoon until well blended. 

02. Cover securely and freeze until slushy, at least 24 hours.

03. Just before serving, rim margarita glasses with sugar. Scoop 1 cup of the slushy margarita mix in each glass. 

04. Pour a dash or two of  Sprite or 7UP on top and serve immediately. 

05. Freeze any remaining amount up to a week.
