The Authorized King James 1611/2011 Bible

IT'S ABOUT TIME! This is the King James Bible with 21st century spelling and no other changes.

(Thousands of other spelling changes were already made in the King James Bible since 1611, but spelling changes are not textual "revisions".) Yet look at the difference:

                                King James 1611

Ruth 2:11 And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.

John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit

                      King James 1611/2011

The superscript "s " in the "KJ2011" tells the reader that the "you" is singular. In the King James, "thee" and "thou" is always singular; "you" and "ye" is always plural. To translate "ye" , "you" , "thee" , and "thou" all as "you" , without conveying whether the Hebrew or Greek is singular or plural is to mis-translate something like one-half of the verses in the Bible, as is done in virtually all new English versions. This is serious in some verses because it makes it impossible or guess work to tell who is being spoken to. For example, in John 3:7 (above) since "you" without a superscript "s" in the KJ2011 is always plural the Lord Jesus said to Nicodemus "you must be born again" , that is, "you all" -- all mankind. And most of us thought He was just talking about Nick!
The superscript "d" tells the reader that this word is in the dynamite dictionary in the back of the KJ11 Bible. The several hundred words in this dictionary represent most of the King James words not in an average modern vocabulary.
This is not a "new King James Bible. (See below for The New King James Bible Do We Need It?, the most comprehensive comparison available of the King James and the New King James.) Historically, the 1611 King James Bible is the last (and best) English translation ever made from the not critically edited Masoretic Hebrew (basically the Dead Sea Scrolls Scriptures) and the Textus Receptus Greek (Simply the basic Greek text of 90% of the 5000+ Greek manuscripts of the New Testament, including the oldest). Please entertain the following question: Doesn't this make the King James the only English Bible that can even claim to be translated from the 100% inspired and 100% preserved Bible ? This is not a subtle "King James only" statement, wherein these dear people claim Divine inspiration for the King Jamestranslation, whereas the many promises we have found are God's guarantees for the extant existence of the 100% true Hebrew and Greek Scriptures: Ps. 12:6,7; Isa. 40:8; II Tim. 3:16,17; II Peter 1:19-21; John 10:35b.... It's about getting our Bible back, not passively receiving dogma, but earnestly contending for the faith (Jude 3b)!
