I welcome applications for links to be included in this, or in my other websites.
* * * * * THIS IS A SUMMARY OF ALL MY WEBSITES * * * * *
This is like an INDEX and it contains links to each of my websites, as well as a few other websites.
( Those other websites, as well as, numerous others, have been of help in my creation of the information within each website. )
In most of my websites ( currently all ), I have disengaged the comments bar, as I do not have the time to peruse ( let alone respond to ) any comments.
I do not violate copyright and produce both my own photographic images and other graphic material, such as drawings, monograms and old restored photographs.
Occasionally, I do get permission to use material from other sources and on those occasions, I will include a citation with reference to the source.

Australian flags
Danebrog ( Danish flag, unaltered for about 800 years )
In Denmark, this flag is used by all, everywhere. There you do not have to wonder if you are in a different country when you see a flag flown by different services, such as the fire brigade, the Air Force or the various regions. This has been so for centuries. There is no identity crisis over there. And, people do not confuse it with their neighbouring countries, such as is the case with Australia and New Zealand.
We have many sad ( and embarrassing ) stories about that.

My commemorative websites
These are websites devoted to particular individuals.
Many of the photographs included are rescued, often, at the last minute, from being carted off in the garbage collection. They include, in 1990, a shoebox half filled with photos and documents, and, in 2013, some albums and other material, discarded from a deceased estate.
This is the result of months of long hours of research, with the collaborative assistance of dozens of helpful people in both Australia and in Denmark, hundreds of hours of digitising / repairing photographs and over a thousand hours of toiling on the computer.
I am hoping that it will serve as a permanent record and that it will be of benefit to both my sons and others.
Karl

Australian Commonwealth flag
Official Australian flag since 1954
but did not come into widespread use until about 1970.
( including, during Iraq I, Afghanistan and Iraq II )
It is claimed that the British blue ensign with stars has been the official Australian flag since it won recognition in a competition just after Federation in 1901. That is false. Though it was used sporadically (including on the ill fated Sydney II in 1942), the British Red Ensign was the official flag everywhere until about 1970.
In 1970, Australians were still British Citizens, hence the current flag. However, these flags will soon be history, because the next flag will be our republican flag, which will be adopted once we become a republic. That will occur when our British ancestors become outnumbered by our non British citizens. We are almost there now.

My grandfather's book
( Yet to be translated from Danish )
The book concerns his personal experiences and contemplative thoughts, after his return to Australia in 1929 and while gold prospecting in the Southern region of New South Wales, along the Clyde River Valley. It was during the time of the Great Depression and he led a hard, tough and dangerous life, living in tents, bark huts and with barely the basic necessities for life.
A really great read, with drawings, newspaper clippings, photographs and numerous sketches of his many ingenious inventions. Written during World War II, while he was cut off from communicating by post with his relatives in Denmark.
Titled "Dagen og Vejen" (The day and the road), the manuscript was posted to Denmark after WW II and it came back to Australia with his daughter, in 1959. The 250 page (about 60,000 words) manuscript, written in longhand on large bond sheets of paper, was, in 2013, rescued from a pile of rubbish that was about to be carted off to the tip.
He wrote other books about the, so called, esoteric sciences, which have, unfortunately been lost.
