Twelve members and guests attended the 95th Reunion.
A highlight was the dedication of the 4th Infantry Monument on the Walk-of-Honor, at the National Infantry Museum.  It is truly a beautiful and inspirational monument.

In addition to the great comeraderie we shared, there was a great ice-breaker on Friday night where chapter members got to meet and talk with Medal of Honor recipient Clinton Romesha.  There were very productive business meetings where our own President Jerry Bumpus was elected as the Vice President - Vietnam and Don Kelby as the Executive Director. The Saturday meeting was followed by a Skype session with the 4th Division Commanding General, MG Paul J. LaCamera.  It was a great opportunity to get his update on the mission of our Division that is serving forward at this time.  We had the privilige to ask him questions and his answers were to the point, honest, and insightful.  The Chapter held its own meeting following the National's.  The annual scholarship was drawn and Desiree Koepke was selected.  On Saturday night a wonderful Flames-of-Rembrance Banquet was held.  It was a very nice event and we were treated to very inspirational speeches by President Bob Babcock, and 4th ID 4th BCT Commander, Colonel Brian L. Pearl.

        Spring 2013 Mini-Reunion
The Chapter met in Kansas City on Saturday 13 April.  Twelve members were able to make the event.  Several items were donated for the silent auction at the upcoming National Reunion in Columbus, GA.  The Chapter again resolved to donate to Veterans Homes in Missouri and Kansas just as in 2012.  The Chapter will again
offer a college scholarship.  For more information see the links in the panel to the left "Scholarship Application".

The Chapter members, at an earlier meeting, agreed to send Donations to Veterans Homes in Missouri and Kansas.  Several of the donations were delivered by members of the Chapter and some by mail.  We have received many wonderful cards and letters from the Veterans Homes thanking us for YOUR kindness and generosity.
Leon (Sonny) and Mrs Meyer present a check to the Cape Girardeau Missouri Veterans Home.
Sonny also presented a personal donation matching that of the Chapter.
Also the Chapter agreed to match a portion of the donations of members to the 4th Division Walk of Honor being built at the new Museum at Fort Benning, GA.  Between donations of chapter members, the Chapter's donation, and the matching funds, we were able to send $850.  Again, thanks to YOUR generousity.  The Walk of Honor effort could still use further support.  They have yet to reach the goal that was set at the 2012 reunion.  If you would like to contribute you may send a check to:  National 4th Infantry Division Assn; Don Kelby Exec Dir; PO BOX 1914 ST PETERS  MO  63376-0035.  Or you can visit www.4thInfantry.org and use PayPal or a credit card.

Veterans Day (2012) Parade in Branson, MO
On November 11, 2012 The Chapter marched in the Veterans Day Parade in Branson, MO. The largest Veterans Day Parade in the Nation! Read more about it here.
The National 4th ID Association graciously provided funds to support a hospitality room for us during the days leading up to the parade.  The Hospitality room was in the Savannah House Hotel.
It was a great parade.  Its really inspiring to see how many people line the streets of the route, and to see the support of the businesses in the area.
       94th National Reunion - 2012
The 2012 National 4th ID Association Reunion was held on 24-28 July, 2012, at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO., Hosted by Fort Carson, CO and assisted by the Wisconsin Chapter.  The Midwest Chapter had twenty-four members in attendance.
