Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training teaches Scoutmaster and assistant Scoutmasters practical ways to instill the eight methods of Scouting into their troop programs.

This trainers of this course will utilize the EDGE instruction techniques and methods.  The Trainers EDGE course is strongly suggested for everyone, to help insure a consistent instructional and training methodology is utilized throughout every scouting program.

  • A single 8 hour session, typically on a Saturday unless at a long term camp
  • Broken into 3 parts, usually in the evenings over a week or weeks

Registration is OPEN and REQUIRED, by selecting the Boy Scout Leader Registration link at Training Course Registrations.

Notes:
  • Bring a 6' piece of rope 
  • Please wear full Field Uniform
  • Boy Scout Handbook
  • There will be no meals, snacks or crackerbarrell provided.  Participants may bring in beverages as long as they manage and are accountable for them.  We are guests of the church
