Music Makers of Milton Keynes are a community choir with an emphasis on singing for fun ... mixing up a range of styles and sounds.

We are a welcoming bunch, with a range of backgrounds, ages, experience and a blend of multi-part harmonies - whether accompanied or a cappella.

We perform at local events, collaborate with other musical groups, take bookings for sessions and hold our own concerts.

MMMK are now in the middle of our winter season. We have a local festive performance in All Saints Church, Calverton on 6th Dec and in a new venue for us, a joint Winter Concert with our friends Brackley Wind Ensemble in Holy Trinity Church, Wolverton on 15th Dec. See our Events Calendar to keep up to date with our future Festive engagements, and for venue information

Our latest performance was another collaboration with Brackley Wind Ensemble, as an Evening of Remembrance in Syresham St. James Church. Following some of the themes from StonyLive's first weekend, MMMK again jointly performed with Brackley Wind Ensemble in a Musicals-themed evening on 23rd June. Our most recent local event was another performance as part of StonyLive!back once more at St. Mary & St. Giles Church in Stony Stratford, with a mix of favourites and some less familiar numbers, on 2nd June. Earlier on we collaborated again as invited guests of the Wolverton Light Orchestra on 10th March 2018.

Aside from our usual festive commitments, last year we performed a choral session in All Saints Church in Calverton on 15th July, following the annual StonyLive! festival - building on past successes with a concert and then a sing-along-a-BBQ. Previously, we were invited guests of the Wolverton Light Orchestra for an early Spring Concert, and earlier a number of our members and friends once more supported the Wing Musicathon at the end of January 2017.

In our 30th year, we performed a joint concert with Brackley Wind Ensemble, and in Sulgrave Manor prior to our Belgium Tour over Summer 2016, in Ypres, Menin Gate, Bruges and Ghent cathedrals. In the previous year, we reprised and joined forces with Wendy Kitching's dancers, for a 'Summertime Spectacular' in Stantonbury Theatre on 20th June 2015.

We are planning around our 2019 commitments; if you have an event or collaboration in mind, please do get in touch.

MMMK took part previously in Wolverton 'It's in the Square' and we have joined with other local choirs in a 'Springtime Singtime' and 'Big Sing for Willen' in Newport Pagnell. We have also worked with Radcliffe School and Wendy Kitching's Dancers for evenings of entertainment. Historically, we are also linked with Stantonbury Theatre, from earlier performances and musical theatre.

We always welcome new members, without audition; entertaining Milton Keynes since 1985.

Would you like to join in?

If you would like to join and sing with us, you are very welcome to come along to a rehearsal. We will be delighted to see you. Our rehearsals page will tell you where and when.

There's plenty to see on the site and lots of useful information. Find out about the events we have planned; a gallery and footage from recent performances, and some more information about the group and earlier history.
