C. B. Fisk Organs

Gloucester, Massachusetts

The culmination of a 10-year project to rebuild/replace the Moeller organ, our glorious Fisk was installed beginning September 2004 and dedicated in February 2005.  It was built in the Fisk shop in Gloucester, carried into the Church by 102 parishioners and friends on September 12th, and assembly began the next morning.  The 8' Principal was first played in October, the Principal Choruses, Flutes and Strings were played at Christmas services.  Reed voicing began in January and the organ was finished in February.

The Organ was dedicated at Morning Prayer on February 25th and Daniel Roth, Organiste Titulaire of St. Sulpice, Paris, played the Dedicatory Recital that afternoon to a standing-room audience.

This glorious instrument is heard weekly at the principal services of the Parish and in concerts.  It has met with glowing accolades and continues to prove itself expressive and generous.
