I am a 2nd-year PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems in Germany and a member of the Robust Systems group of my adviser Allen Clement. I get co-advised by Umut Acar, professor at Carnegie-Mellon University (CMU). I graduated with a MSIT degree with specialization in Very Large Information Systems from CMU, where I worked with Dave Andersen in his FAWN group, which is affiliated with the Parallel Data Lab (my page there) and Intel Labs Pittsburgh. I received my Vordiplom in Computer Science from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, where I am still enrolled in the Diplom program of the Computer Science Institute

Besides my computer science life, I am one of the CEOs of Munz Gieß- und Kopiertechnik GmbH & Co. KG, my parents' company, a manufacturer of tools for forming sheet steel for prototypes in the automotive industry.
