This is the home page of Multiuser Detection, a graduate course that is taught at the department of Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering (EECE) at Cairo university.
The lecture notes, assignments and announcements are posted on the left sidebar.
The Intended Learning Outcome:
1-To formulate the classical single-user detection problem
2- To analyze single-user detection case in CDMA system
3- To analyze multi-user detection case in CDMA system
4-To characterize the general four effects of wireless channel (temporal/frequency flatness/dispersion)
5- To develop the two major measures of communication link: capacity and diversity
6- To develop multi-antenna solutions for classical single-user problem in fading channel
7- To develop multi-antenna solutions for classical multiple-user problem in fading channel
8- To compare the structure of different transceivers for multi-user system modelÂ
9- To describe the performance measures and cost functions of commonly used transceivers
