Mastery Objective: As a result of our time together in the Media Center, you will be able to find and apply information about your topic in eBooks, databases, books and credible websites in order to create a multimedia presentation.
 
  
Overview of project:
 
Step 1: RESEARCH!
  • Start with our eBooks & databases
  • Use websites you can trust
  • DO NOT USE WIKIPEDIA!!!
  • Consider using Discovery Education Videos as an alternative to YouTube
    • Username: lenapehighschool
    • Password: indians
  • Create a new folder on your h-drive for this project
    • Save every image, video clip & song you will use for your video to this folder
    • To save online images, right-click the image and click "Save As" (copying & pasting will not work in most programs)
    • DON'T SAVE IMAGES TO THE "MY PICTURES" FOLDER!
    • Be sure all your images, video & music clips are in the correct format
 
  • While researching, keep track of all your sources (in a Word document or Powerpoint slide)
  • Remember every fact, image, article, website, song, video, or idea you use MUST be cited
  • Use EasyBib to help make your citations
 
  • Select your PRESENTATION TOOL
  • Remember you can ask your Media Specialists for help with any program
