About Me

I am an Assistant Professor at the Lahore University of Management Sciences; I completed my PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge in 2017. My research interests draw from macroeconomics, time series econometrics and finance with a particular focus on asset pricing. While a significant space in my PhD thesis is devoted to explosiveness in asset prices, the overarching theme and message of my research is that asset markets undergo different states and depending on the state they are in, the dynamics vary.

I also have a significant amount of teaching experience and have taught as a University Lecturer in addition to being a Teaching Fellow and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Cambridge. The courses I have taught include Econometrics, Macroeconomics, Mathematics and Statistics.
