MPPLN is a statewide collaborative infrastructure supporting high quality professional learning opportunities that are equitable, consistent and support the implementation of the Montana Common Core Standards.
 

According to members, the MPPLN is valued because it provides a forum for the following:

o   Collective intelligence

o   Attention to equitable access, according to region and students’ ability levels  

o   Networking inside and outside of OPI

o   Learning and sharing OPI initiatives & programs                                                                           

o   Principals & school leaders receive so much information, providers can provide targeted help

o   Coordinated communication and cooperation to limit expenses associated with travel

o   PR - Building a more positive public image about OPI and public education in general

MPPLN meets twice yearly.  The next meeting is Feb 19-20 at Helena College:
 
 
 
Feb. 19, 9am - 5pm
Feb. 20, 8:30am - 3pm
Coffee & lunch will be provided both days.
Lodging: There is a block of rooms at Baymont Inn & Suites, 443-1000 under "OPI". Room block expires after February 12th, so make reservations prior to that date.
OPI will reimburse at state rate for hotel room, mileage, and meals not provided during the meeting and while traveling.
