  • Mamma Mia Social!
    The MTPA officers are busy planning the Mamma Mia social! Here are all the details:

    Date: Monday, February 24th
    Time: 5:00 - 6:15 PM
    Location: Room 140

    It will be a disco/"throwback to the 70's" themed party for all students currently involved in the spring musical, Mamma Mia! Food and drink will be provided, but bring $3 if you are planning on eating. Come ready to dance, play games, and have fun with friends. Also, don't be afraid to come dressed in your best disco outfit! There will be prizes!! Students should sign up here by Friday, February 21st.

  • Makeup Crew
    It is time to form the makeup crew for Mamma Mia! If you are able to attend *ALL* scheduled meetings (CHECK YOUR CALENDARS!) please download the signup sheet and return it to Mr. Wagner by Thursday, February 20.  Make-up crew will be posted on the bulletin board by Monday, February 24. The call times are approximate. You will be given an exact time schedule at our first meeting.  The makeup crew is vital to the success of your production-- we need you to get involved!

  • Messages for the Program
    Every show we give all MTPA members the opportunity to help defray the cost of putting on a show by selling messages for the program. All instructions for selling messages are included on the this sheet. All messages and money are due to Mr. Wagner by Wednesday, Feb. 19.  None will be accepted after this date.

  • Lighting Crew
    MTPA is looking for several capable and dependable students to serve on the lighting crew for our upcoming production of Mamma Mia! Due to the complex lighting demands of this show, these positions are of critical importance. If you are interested in serving on the lighting crew, you must pick up information in room 140 or download it from here as soon as possible. The completed form must be returned to Mr. Wagner no later than Wednesday, February 19.

    Mamma Mia! t-shirts are here! Please pick up your shirt in Mr. Wagner’s room (140). We do have a few extra available on a first come, first served basis. Shirts are $8. T-shirt days are every Friday!

    Cast - The rehearsal schedule packet has been posted. You can download it here. There are also copies in Mr. Wagner’s room. It is very detailed and can seem overwhelming. Please read the packet carefully. If you have questions after reading it please ask.

  • Tech Crews (Running crew, sound, lights)
    We have put together a tentative tech schedule for both the play and the musical. It can be downloaded here. If you are interested in being on running crew, lighting crew, or sound crew for either show please download this page and put the dates on your calendar right away! Crew members need to be at all tech rehearsals!

  • Musical Tentative Schedule-IMPORTANT INFORMATION
    This year’s musical is a big one and we will need lots of students in all areas of the show! We will be having December rehearsals, etc. We are publishing our TENTATIVE musical rehearsal schedule so that you can put these dates on your calendar. It can be downloaded here. This schedule may change but probably not big changes. PLEASE NOTE- MTSD does not have school on Friday, March 13 and Monday, March 16 but since this is tech and show week we WILL have rehearsals on those days. These will be mandatory rehearsals. Please plan accordingly.

Schedule Changes/Revisions

Mamma Mia! Rehearsal Changes -- We would like to change the following rehearsals:

Thursday, February 13:

 12:45-3:00PM – Annalise, Dayanna, Mitchell, Lizzie, Xavier, Alexa, Josh, Ayush, Yasmin, Mason, Pritesh, Olivia ONLY (Originally this was a full cast rehearsal)

3:00-4:15PM – Publicity picture with Annalise, Ayush, Yasmin, Alexa, Dayanna, Mason, Mitchell, Josh

Monday, February 17:

6:00-9:00PM – Full Cast (Originally the full cast was only called from 6:00-7:30PM)

Please let us know by 2/3 if there are any issues with the above changes. These changes mostly eliminate cast members called rather than add. Conflicts should be minimal. Thank you.

Photos from MTPA 2019-2020- WE Need Your PHOTOS!

We would like photos from both the fall play and musical. These can be production pictures AND/OR candid shots. We would love to have a lot of fun pictures for the banquet at the end of the year. You can upload photos using this link:

You do not need a password to upload photos. However after you upload your photos and click ”I'm done uploading“ the next screen will ask for a password to view the album. You won’t be able to go farther as we have password protected the album so that it is not open to the world. Have no fear your pictures were uploaded if you used the above link!

Please upload pictures at any time this year! We would love to have a great collection of pictures for our banquet! Thanks!

Join MTPA!

If you would like to join MTPA please fill out this online form. By filling out this form you will be added to the MTPA database. EVERYONE must fill out this form even if you have been a member of MTPA in the past.  As a member of MTPA you will be expected to support the organization through your participation in productions and activities throughout the year. MTPA membership requirements are:
  • Sell 4 tickets for both shows
  • Buy a pin ($1) for both shows
  • Participate in a crew or cast for at least one show,including strike (theatrical lingo for taking down the set and cleaning everything up).
NOTE: All students who are in the cast, pit orchestra, stage crew, or costume crew are included in the MTSD Activity Fee Policy. Information about this policy can be found on the district website. Please note, MTSD administration has stated that the play and the musical count as two separate activities. Please return ALL forms to Mr. Wagner in room 140 so that we can keep accurate MTPA records. Please do not pay the fee until you have been directed to do so by your MTPA advisor! Thank you!
