Meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the second Tuesday of every month (except July and August) at The Ferndale Library - 2125 Main St, Ferndale, WAMembership is open to all licensed amateur radio operators, and visitors are always welcome.  Please join us!

Local Emcomm

Want to be more involved in the community?  The following groups are Emcomm (Emergency Communications) groups in the county.  Each of them is affiliated with a public safety organization.  Membership in these groups is normally free, although training is required.

MBARC is not affiliated with any of these groups, although many of our members also participate in them.

  • September Meeting - Go Kits The Summer hiatus is ending with a return to monthly MBARC meetings at the Ferndale Library (7 PM).  The topic for the September 10th meeting will be amateur radio "go kits".  If you would like to display and describe your "radio station in a box", the meeting room will be open at 6:30 PM for set-up.
