Announcements appear when your students first accesses your course. It's important to stay in touch with students by adding announcements on a regular basis.
To Add an Announcement:
- Make sure Edit Mode is ON
- Click the Announcement area of the course menu
- Click Create Announcement
- Name the announcement and type the message into the text box
- Use the date parameters, if necessary
- A permanent announcement appears at the top of the announcement list at all times.
- Use the Override User Notifications box to send the announcement to students email. NOTE: you will not receive a copy of this email.
- Click the Submit button
