Each night, students are required to read 20 minutes.  Students will take home the same book for two nights, which will allow them to practice reading the text more than one time.  This will help students' fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. Parents--please sign indicating that your child has read their
20 minutes each night!

Don't forget to study your math facts nightly so you can become fluent with adding and subtracting!!!

Each week, students will receive a Fundations Homework Guide to help them complete his/her Fundations homework.  Fundations writing paper will also be provided so that students can work on penmanship throughout the year.  Fundations Homework can be found in your child's homework folder each week. Fundation homework will practice the skills we are currently working on in class to help us become better spellers, writers, readers, and help increase our oral and written comprehension.
