The goal of this class is to produce a quality product for the students and faculty and to continue to
educate you on topics related to journalism. The newspaper primarily serves as an outlet for student voice, but inherent in the process is understanding the influence of the press, practicing First Amendment rights and responsibilities, learning skills used in communications careers, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with one another.

My intent is that you leave class each day with a greater understanding of journalism, you have a memorable experience to reflect upon, and you exhibit your journalistic talent in the Argus.
