"Education is not the filling of a pail,
but the lighting of a fire."
--William Butler Yeats

My philosophy of education is to provide instruction according to students’ abilities. Communication between team members is critical in helping each student to develop the skills and knowledge needed to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Students need a variety of experiences, and should be actively involved in their school and community to assure their highest level of achievement.
In a technology-driven society, my goal is to help increase students’ desire for learning.  It is essential that educators integrate technology into the curriculum to prepare students for daily life and the world of work.  Technology provides students another tool for learning where the teacher can potentially reach all learning styles in one lesson.  It can raise self-confidence, positive attitude, and success.
