The Appendix is a literary journal published annually by the students of the Medical School for International Health. The Appendix features original works of poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction and visual art. The editors invite submissions relating to themes of illness, aging, death, healing, the human body and encounters with the medical system. Works relating to international/global themes are given special consideration.
How do I get involved?
We need people who are interested to become editors, website designers/managers. Submissions are always welcome.
What are the guidelines for submission?
Works of prose should not exceed 5000 words and poetry should be limited to 5 pages.
Please send writing via email attachment in Word format and visual art as JPEG or TIFF.
