Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting my web site. After 5 years teaching at Burnaby Central, I am taking a leave from the district as of September 2018. I now work as the BC Regional Manger of TEALS (Technology Education And Literacy in Schools), part of Microsoft Philanthropies. I will miss teaching at Central very much, but this isn't goodbye. I'm sure that there will be chances for me to come back and visit, as I continue to support the Math and Computer Science programs at Central, just in a different role.

I will keep some of the links on this web site since some students find them helpful. I still check my e-mail erica.huang.at.burnabyschools.ca, so please feel free to keep in touch!

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by…… “
And felt that I were in the world of spherical geometry
Going on an extraordinary journey walking a geodesic, ending up
Where I started. Like the alchemist said
“Wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure.”

(Should I reference Robert Frost and Paulo Coelho? And if you are interested, read more about spherical and hyperbolic geometry, two examples of non-Euclidean geometry where interior angles of a triangle don't add up to 180 degrees...)
