Please use the website for a DEEP understanding:

Discover, Explore, Educate, and Protect

Get ready to explore.

I have a tendency to see science everywhere as my students soon find out.
I graduated from CSU, Monterey Bay with a bachelor's of science in Earth Systems Science and Policy.  In Monterey, I was given amazing experiences to learn science hands-on.  I believe the best way to learn science is to see it first hand by doing science.  In my class, students learn through activities and projects.

I bring in my own experiences of science into the classroom.  I use my hobby of photography to share experiences and inspire my students.  Experiences from Yosemite to the Monterey area open students eyes to what is close by and bring the outdoors into the classroom.   I push my students to see the connections around them.  I want and expect my students to bring their own experiences and connections into the classroom as I do.  The classroom is a collection of all of our knowledge.

I hope you look forward to physical science!
