Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Megan Grafe and I am Jesup's new FCS teacher! I am very excited for this exciting chapter to start in my life and hope to share my FCS & FCCLA passion with you!
Some background basics...I am originally from Rochester, MN (You Betcha!), received my B.S. degree in Family & Consumer Sciences Education, as well as a minor in Spanish and concentration in Coaching from University of Wisconsin- Stout in 2008. While at Stout, I kept busy holding leadership positions within Alpha Phi, UW-Stout Club Volleyball, our FCS club as well as working in a variety of different culinary settings. Right out of college, I had the opportunity to work for a fantastic FCS program in Cambridge, MN! The last two years I taught FCS, advised Yearbook and coached volleyball at Forest City High School in Forest City, IA. Now, I am eager to share all of what FCS & FCCLA has to offer with Jesup students! I will be keeping busy here with teaching as well as advising our FCCLA chapter.
My Fiance, Ryan and I are busy building a house in Cedar Falls, planning a July 2012 wedding and taking time to be with our family and friends! My hobbies include cooking, sewing, scrapbooking, book store trips with Ryan, playing/coaching volleyball, The Pampered Chef and taking many long walks/bike rides on the trails of Cedar Falls!
