About Me

Born in Santiago, Chile, I moved to the United States when I was 14.  Attended Sonoma State University and received a BS in Physics and a minor in Math.  After completing 1 year of a PhD physics program I discovered my love of teaching. I received my teaching credential from San Francisco State University; during this time I was fortunate to be a student teacher at Westmoor High School.  I am grateful and excited to be a teacher at Westmoor High School today.

When I am not teaching I enjoy photography, makeup artistry, cooking, ballroom dancing, origami and hanging out with my family.

I am fluent in spoken and written Spanish.  I also have a working knowledge of French.

Something surprising about me:  I explored different jobs during my high school and college years including:  photography, make-up artistry, auto repair, veterinary nursing and sales.
