Emotion Portraits

Have a "professional" portrait session with a partner from class. Shoot at least FIVE (5) "emotion." Make sure to label which emotions are being depicted in each of your blog posts. I was inspired by the photography of Jill Greenberg's "End Times" portraits, which depicted a variety of crying toddlers. I know that sounds sad, and it IS, but the portraits are amazing and beautiful. Jill Greenberg was also the photographer responsible for Gwen Stefani's cover portrait on her The Sweet Escape album. Greenberg obviously used digital editing techniques to give her portraits a painterly look, and my goal is to have you create pictures of different emotions that are as painterly and sharp as hers. Obviously, her toddler portraits were quite controversial, but they were beautiful in their own way as well. For more information on Jill Greenberg, click here:

These photos should be taken in the photo studio we've set up in the MMN green room/Mr. Hershey's office. It's important that we do not disturb Mr. Hershey when we work on these photo
shoots.

DON'T FORGET TO LABEL EACH OF THE EMOTIONS THAT ARE DEPICTED UNDER EACH PICTURE ON YOUR BLOG POST!
