Create a Disproportionate Photo

Create a DISPROPORTIONATE image by making things that are usually smaller--larger and things that are usually larger, smaller! Disproportionate means that things are not in proportion, so you must make sure that, in the end, something looks at least a little off!

Using Photoshop, you can either do this with a portrait as seen below, or you can experiment with different subjects. Perhaps you'd like to make an extremely large insect that towers over the Empire State Building, or perhaps you'd like to make an elephant be dwarfed by a flea. You decide how you'd like to accomplish the task, but you MUST make sure that things that are typically small are big and vice versa!
