Week of 11/7/16 Students will be starting a new chapter in their books. This chapter will be focusing on percents. Starting off this new chapter students will be discovering how to find the percent of a number using reallife problems and mental math. Students will have one day of instruction on finding percents of a number, then we will play a review game to solidify their understanding of the skill. Students will also be using reflex math two days a this week to practice their math skills using various math games/activities.

Week of 10/31/16  This week we will be reviewing for the upcoming test on Friday. This test will be over proportions, rate of change and direct variation. Students are also assigned a worksheet (Coordinate Sloopy) that may be turned in for extra credit on the test! Students should be studying all week using their study guide!
