Currently I am Visiting Assistant Professor at Saint Joseph's University, where I teach courses in music theory, music history, American music, and chamber music.  Previously I served as Lecturer in the Department of Music and the Kim Program in Korean Studies (Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations) at the University of Pennsylvania.  My teaching included courses in the undergraduate music theory sequence and new courses I designed on traditional and contemporary Korean music and media.  From 2004-2008 I taught composition as Director of the Music Composition and Performance Program at Rodin College House.

Previously I taught at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, Montgomery County Community College, and Rutgers University Arts Online.  In summer 2012 I was Visiting Professor at the International Summer Campus of Korea University, where I developed and taught two new courses: Introduction to Film Music and Korean Wave in a Global Perspective.
