Sometimes I come across a website that is so helpful I return to it again and again.  Below are websites I think are the most useful and informative.  Some are free and some require subscription. 

 

Super Teacher Worksheets - great resource for homework and extra practice

Pete's Powerpoint Station - find a powerpoint presentation of just about anything

Rhythm, Rhyme, Results - great educational rap songs (subscription or purchase required)

Tween Tribune - great articles for kids to read and post comments on

Spelling City - customize spelling lists for students to study, play games, and take practice tests

Florida Center for Reading Research - a very comprehensive source of reading information, lessons, or activities

TED - a large collection of video talks
TED ED - video talks and lessons to use

Engrade - the most simple, easiest to use on-line grade book I've found

ePals - create monitored email accounts for students, plus find many resources for using email with students

Zamzar - convert any video or music clip to a format you can use 
                           (Great if YouTube is not available at your school)

Game Aquarium Video Library - hundreds of great video clips on many subjects

Video Writing Prompts - hundreds of prompts

Science Experiments for Kids - great list of simple science experiments

Study Jams - great videos, slide shows, and karaoke songs for math and science 

Science Bob - great list of experiments and demonstrations

Intervention Central - RtI resources that are excellent for all students

Better Lesson - common core aligned lesson plans

Newsela - Great articles by topic and can be tailored to lexile levels
