Homework

This year students will NOT receive a printed homework sheet for the week. Reading homework will always be to read at least 30 minutes each night.  This may sound like easy or trivial homework, but it is one of the most valuable activities any person can do.  Reading just a few minutes each day is mentally stimulating and improves stamina and concentration.  It expands vocabulary, builds background knowledge and improves memory.  It also promotes critical thinking and makes better writers.  Please make sure your student has a book and reads as much as possible.

There will also be times students will need to finish classwork as homework.  On occasion there may be an additional assignment.  If there is an assignment that needs to be finished or done at home, you will receive a notice from the Remind App.

If you have not signed up to receive notices from Remind, please do.
