2023/24

New at TVES:

• TVES will be using a content specialist model. In grades K-5. There will be one humanities teachers and one math/science teacher per grade level. PreK will continue with one teacher per class teaching all subjects.

• Every teacher will be a teacher of social emotional learning. We will use The Zones of Regulation, Responsive Classroom, Second Step and Mind Up as the basis for our instruction.

• Personalized Learning Plans will continue to be developed for each child and will be front and center as students lead their own conferences this year.

• Outdoor learning is important at TVES. PreK, K spend a half day outside learning every week and all science teachers work to include outdoor learning in their curriculum throughout the year.
