I am very excited to begin my third year here at Our Lady of the Angels as the music teacher! I earned my bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a vocal emphasis from Wilkes University in 1998. After that I served as the music director for Zion United Methodist Church in East Prospect. During that time, I worked for Baltimore County Public Schools as a vocal music teacher. I had the privilege to serve many schools throughout the county and eventually landed at 7th District Elementary where I taught for four years. Two years into my tenure at 7th District, I met and married my husband Steve and we started our family. I resigned my position in order to stay home and take care of my family. We now have four beautiful and healthy children Katie 13, Reagan 12, Thomas 10 and Jack 8. At the beginning of our marriage I felt called to convert from the Methodist Church to the Catholic Church and with the support of my husband completed the RCIA process in 2004.
I am looking forward to continue to grow the music program here at OLA and look forward to a rewarding and exciting school year!
