Dr Meredith Rolfe is Lecturer in Public Management and Governance in the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Programme Director of the MSs Public Management and Governance at LSE. She sits on the Steering Group for LSE's Institute for Public Affairs and is involved with LSE's MPA degree. Prior to joining LSE, she held a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellowship at Nuffield College, Oxford and was a Senior Research Fellow at Saïd Business School, Oxford, with associations to the Departments of Politics and Sociology.

Rolfe is the author of an award-winning book published by Cambridge University Press, and her research has been published in Public Opinion Quarterly, Social Networks, Network Science, and collections of cutting edge work in analytical sociology.  Her research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the British Academy, Oxford's John Fell Fund, the EU-sponsored EqualSOC Framework, and the Oxford University Centre of Corporation Reputation. She is closely involved with the newly created Political Networks organized section of the American Political Science Association, having recently served as chair of the section.

Dr Rolfe holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Chicago, and a BA in Sociology and Comparative Areas from Duke University.
