Mr. Rizzuto's Current PE Units:
Students check in by taking a second to think about how they are feeling as they enter the gym to start class. They then check out at the end of class with the hopes that all (or close to all) students leave feeling happy.

Students use GIF's to choose the type of push up that best represents their current ability level as part of their warm-up before class.

REACTION TIME PROGRESSION:
Students react to various stimuli whether it be visual, auditory and tactile.
Students track a jump rope as it goes around the circle in a game of octopus.  The group has a mark that they try to beat.

Next, they play the same game of octopus but this time they have to face the outside of the circle.  They can look for the rope, but they can not turn around.

Students react when their partner drops a whiffle ball, trying to catch it.

Students react to the sound of the teachers voice in a game of "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Take."
