April 12 – Work Period

April 26 – Time provided to create product (A + B COMPLETED)

May 3 – Present final product before beginning your evaluation. (Practice and Overview)

May 10 – Present final product

What is design?

The Design course is part of the IB MYP. It is a course where students will use inquiry-based learning to propose and create solutions/products.

How are we going to do this?

Using the design cycle, students will be asked to research, propose, create, and evaluate products/solutions. We're going to cover this in class.

Required Materials:

• Duo-tang
• Dividers
• Loose Leaf
• Pens; pencils; highlighters
• Materials relating to your project (more on this later!).

It is important that you bring all required materials to class; this course revolves around inquiry learning and, as such, requires organizational skills.
