Hello parents and students,

Welcome to AP Human Geography. This course is designed to have the rigor of a college level course with the assumption that students will take the AP exam in late May to garner college credit. As such a few things are required: dedication, reading, and studying. This course is difficult and covers a wide range of topics - from languages and religions to agricultural systems and industrial location theories.

For success in this class students must read. We have 1 semester to cover the contents of a college course, including practice, projects, discussions, exams, quizzes, etc. For success in the class and the AP Exam students must use ALL available resources, which includes reading their textbook and taking notes from their reading.

Supplemental materials will be provided from other textbooks.

Wishing you a successful semester and year,

Mr. Lynch
