Welcome to 8th Grade History and the Green Team! I hope you've had a wonderful and restful summer and can't wait for the year to begin. Get ready to tackle some challenging and fun work!

Want to prep ahead of time? Follow the Useful Links tab on the side and start reading up on International News and get ready to report on Current Events! For some interesting perspective, read the same story from an American and international source.

Did you take a vacation somewhere exciting? Photos are a great way to gain perspective on culture outside of the US- if you care to share when we get to your locale, feel free to bring them in and share with the class.

Supplies: You will need the following throughout the year

• 1.5 to 2 inch, 3 ring binder

• 5 dividers labeled Warm Ups, Notes, Activities, Homework, Quizzes/Tests

• White lined paper

• Blue/black pens or pencils

• Homework folder

• It is also recommended that students have a USB Flash Drive or at the very least set up an Evernote account
