Tim Howard is currently a high school teacher at Boulder Creek High School in Anthem Arizona, teaching World History. He is also a member of the Rio Salado College adjunct faculty, and has taught several courses in Computer Technology, Educational Technology, and Personal Computers at the college level.
In addition to an Arizona state certification in History, Howard also has CTE (technology), Government, and Language Arts certifications, as well as a Masters Degree in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University.
Born in Rockford, Illinois, Howard grew up in Beloit, Wisconsin and has a BBA degree in Marketing and Economics from the University of Wisconsin- Madison.
He worked in business management for 29 years before beginning his second career in education in 2001. Married with four children, Mr. Howard enjoys reading, travel, most sports, and learning. Future pursuits may include an educational leadership certification, and development of on-line learning programs for high school and college students.
He has served on curriculum advisory committee, the curriculum integration committee at BCHS, as well as on the school technology committee. He has also created several courses that are based on his belief that cross- curricular education and integration is the wave of the future.
