6th grade Social Studies is a class where we will study World Geography, World History (Religion, Diversity, & Identity), and Culture (Awareness and Understanding).  We will learn about Ancient as well as Contemporary civilizations and cultures.  

In English Language Arts, we will study many topics, including parts of speech, use of language, character and plot development, vocabulary, and much more.

Navigating the site

  • The Class News link gives a preview and overview of the week's activities, including any nightly homework. 

  • The Curriculum link has information about our coursework, specifically our Essential Learning Targets (ELT's).  These ELT's are the content and skills we will be learning throughout the year. 

  • The Documents link is where we keep most of our digital handouts, project information, important websites and links, etc., that we use in daily lessons. 

  • The Grading link is where you can find information on our Proficiency-Based Reporting system.
