Redox Rx
You've almost made it! This is the second to last unit in our quest to understand chemistry. During this unit we will learn how to assign oxidation numbers to elements in compounds. We will learn how to balance chemical reactions by assigning oxidation numbers. We will also learn how to balance chemical reactions by using half reactions. we will learn how important electrons are to making compounds and causing chemical reactions to take place. This will be one of our most challenging units, but if you have done your work up to this point you will be well prepared to understand this unit.
