Unit 1 Waves

During this unit we will break away from our typical Newtonian based concepts and approaches. This will be the opening act in our study of light and sound. We will learn how waves interact with mediums, the different types of waves, how to make calculations based on wave properties, and lastly the terminology that is associated with waves. What we learn during this chapter will be very helpful during our solar water heater races.
