Unit 2 Sound
During this unit we will apply what we learned about waves to an everyday occurrence, sound. We will learn about how frequency, velocity, standing waves, and resonance apply to sound. We will learn about why race cars sound like they are emitting a higher pitch as they approach the observer than when they leave. We will also learn about the decimal scale, and why some sounds sound good to the human ear and others not so good.
