Unit 3 Light Reflection and Refraction
During this unit we will explore the wave properties of light. We will learn about why certain things appear the color that they do. We will also learn about how light behaves as it is reflected (colors we see) and as it is transmitted/refracted. Refraction is what causes a fish to appear to be in a different location than it actually is. We will also learn about dispersion, mirages and total internal reflection. The main equation we will be dealing with during this unit is Snell's Law.
