Lab partner rules and regulations
The following guidelines are to ensure the equity of duties and contributions for those students who choose to submit one laboratory report or project representing two or more students. Late work is worth a maximum of a C.
1) You and/or your partners absence does not change the due date: The work is still due at the prescribed date and time. If your partner is home sick and they have the assignment, it is still due at the beginning of the period. If one of the two partners is in class at the time of the due date, it must be passed in. The absentee will still be penalized unless their absence is excused. Make a copy if your partner has poor attendance, or share it electronically. If your partner has all the data, you are still responsible for completing the lab on time.
2) Conflict with lab partners is not proper cause for late work:
If a one of the lab partners is not contributing to the satisfaction of the other, the lab is still due at the prescribed date and time. If you want it done right, do it yourself. I may require two conclusions, one from each partner. Hah!
General Assignment Rules
3) Most assignment will be accepted electronically:
E-mails have a date and time and are still subject to being passed in on time. Attach files in Word or current program AND in the body of your e-mail. Compatibility is not an excuse. Flash drive is accepted but may delay the assignment from being corrected concurrently with the class. Late work is worth a maximum of NYC.
*Any and all of the above mentioned is subject to change at the discretion of Mr. Blaisdell as needed, or on a case by case basis.
