enVisionmath2.0 Common Core is a comprehensive mathematics curriculum for Grades K-5. Students are learning math using enVisionMath. With this website, students will have access to the actual text book in an ebook format that they are using in the classroom. There are several other resources such as videos and online games that can help reinforce what they are learning in the classroom.

This online website called National Geographic Learning (Reach for Reading), www.myngconnect.com. With this website, students will have access to the actual text book in an ebook format that they are using in the classroom. There are several other resources such as videos and online games that can help reinforce what they are learning in the classroom.  This website because it is National Geographic, this site offers students with information on several topics that can help when doing research.




(9) Google Drive/Docs - Review

Students will be reviewing various skills using Google docs that they learned from last year. While they do this, they will create a Google Docs file on "ALL About A CLASSMATE". They will first interview the student to get some facts about them. I will create an interview sheet that has some headers like background (How many brothers and sisters, how old are you, what are your favorite subjects at school, Favorite things to do such as favorite foods, and students will be able to ask additional facts.




(5) Google Slides - Interview of a Classmate
Students will be reviewing various skills using Google Slides that they learned from last year. While they do this, they will create a Google Slide file on "ALL About A CLASSMATE". They will use the facts they obtained from their interview the student to get some facts about them. The students will create a Google Slide that has background (How many brothers and sisters, how old are you, what are your favorite subjects at school for slide 1, section for slide 2 - Favorite things to do - Slide 3 - Favorite foods Slide 4: Additional facts.

(4) All About Researching
Students will learn how to gather and organize information from digital sources by paraphrasing and/or summarizing. Communicate key ideas and details individually or collaboratively in a way that
informs, persuades, and/or entertains using digital tools and media-rich resources.

Students will learn about researching on a topic that will focus on 3rd grade science curriculum. Students will be introduced to FACTMONSTER (an online encyclopedia), and to some teacher selected sites.

(6) End of Year Project
Students will work in groups of 2-3 and research on a Revolutionary War Hero. This makes a connection to what they are learning within their classroom. Once a group has collected and gathered the needed information, each member of the group will make their own Google SLide final product.
