(10) Google Drive/Docs - Review

Students will be introduced to Google Drive/Docs. They will learn many skills and concepts with using Google Docs. Students will also be introduced to a teacher shared folder where their teachers can add comments to their files.



(4) All About Researching

Students will learn what is research and how they have the ability to use websites to learn more about a topic they may have little or no knowledge on. They also learn how websites can reenforce what they are learning in the classroom.

During this research, the students will become Zoo Keepers. They will be tasked to choose an animal from a list and learn some key facts about it like the habitat, food, and other things.

(5) Google Slides - Animal Zoo Project

Students will be introduced to Google Slides. They will create a Google Slide presentation that showcases their findings on their animal from previous research project.

During this unit, students will be exposed to various skills within Google Slides. When all done, students will take part in the Zoo Walk. This is where other grades will walk through the 2nd grade classes and second graders will show their animal slides.
